I found some cool vintage beer posters that reminded me a lot of the old Vogue covers, and then some fun extras to entertain you.
So go ahead and sit back, relax and take a sip!

COOL.
Love the posters! I don't know how you do it all! Somehow I missed the Vogue issue and read it today as well! Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteI've seen that infographic thing about the kinds of beer before and absolutely love it. It needs to be framed and on my wall when I have a house with a fancy bar. Also, the Gone with the Wind one made me lol for real. And I can feel ya on the needing a beer sentiment. I think team True/False needs to celebrate this weekend.
ReplyDeleteYes, love the beer infographic! I am glad you posted these. They are fun to look at. I wouldn't have even realized some of them were beer posters if I hadn't read your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the "Gone with the Wind" one as well. I haven't really noticed beer infographics like this before, but it doesn't surprise me based on how popular Guinness' advertising posters have always been. I know quite a few people (read: mostly guys) who used them as household decor. This past week, Martha Stewart was on the Today Show to tell viewers about throwing a beer party. Maybe she will get one of these for her beer garden. Ha! Dare to dream.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really like about these as well is how the beer adapts to the different styles of illustrations and typography.
